Test Automation Engineer for Embedded Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Test Automation Engineer with a strong background in testing and validating embedded systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated testing solutions to ensure the quality, and performance of the embedded software and hardware products.
Some of the responsibilities may include:
- Test Strategy and Planning: together with cross-functional teams understand project requirements and develop the test strategy.
- Development and design of test cases and scenarios
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts tailored for embedded systems.
- Implement and execute automated tests for functional validation, regression testing, and hardware-software integration.
- Integrate hardware and software tools into automated test environments for efficient testing and validation of embedded systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies related to embedded systems testing and test automation.
- Continuously improve and optimize test frameworks, scripts, and test environments to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- Documentation on test results, defect tracking, and test coverage to communicate with the development and quality assurance teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience in embedded systems development, such as C/C++, Python or similar
- Hands-on experience in with automated testing tools and frameworks suitable for embedded systems
- Understanding of embedded systems architecture, microcontrollers, and real-time operating systems
- Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g. UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet)
- Living in Sweden
